For the price, this product is great for vegetarians. Don't purchase a generic calcium supplement without vitamin D, since you need vitamin D to absorb/use calcium. The body produces it's own vitamin D if you get enough sunlight, but the alternative source is dairy. Many vegetarians tend to avoid dairy for ethical reasons, but behold: this product is vegetarian friendly and contains two nutrients that non-lacto-vegetarians might need for dietary reasons. This multi-vitamin has everything I was looking for - specifically vitamins B6, B12, calcium citrate, and iron. Plus, it has been easier to digest than other multi-vitamins that I have tried. I also like that the recommended dose is 6 capsules, so I can take 1 or 2 in supplement to a healthy diet and not feel "over-vitamined".
